Description

The open water course gives you a certificate to dive anywhere in the world without the requirement of a PADI professional to a depth of 18m (Adult) or 12m (Junior). The Open Water referral is the 1st part of the full openwater course.

The open water referral course consists of pool sessions and the training theory, but does not include the open water (sea diving) element. In order to complete your training you can take this certificate to any other PADI centre and complete the course with them (at an additional cost). This may be a good choice if you wish to finish off your training whilst on holiday.

Openwater courses start every week and are progressed at the students pace.

What will I do?

The course consists of theory lessons and pool dives. All the pool work is under the direction of a PADI instructor. You start by learning in the comfort of your own home from the PADI Open Water crew pack which we provide. The practical work is done on Saturday afternoons in the pool where you are introduced to the scuba equipment and skills you will use throughout the course. Once you have mastered the skills you need, your instructor will provide you with a certificate which you can take to any other PADI centre in order to complete the open water course (at an additional cost).
